Coniston portfolio company and leading property maintenance firm Masterfix has acquired MDfx, a designer and installer of Smart Home Automation and entertainment systems.
MDfx specialises in automating home entertainment, lighting, heating and security. The company installs systems into homes, upgrades existing smart systems and provides annual servicing to monitor and maintain the equipment.

The acquisition was led at Coniston by Alfred Chambers and was sourced by Michael Calder in Coniston’s acquisition team. Masterfix and Coniston were advised by Stephenson Harwood (Richard Coleman, Amir Kursun, Anastasia Marsh).
Coniston initially backed the MBO of Masterfix in September 2021 and has built a pipeline of further acquisition opportunities for Masterfix.
